How to stay away from negative people

1. Identify Negative People: Recognize who in your circle tends to drain your energy with their pessimism, complaints, or toxic behavior. Awareness is the first step.

2. Set Boundaries: Once you've identified negative individuals, start setting healthy boundaries. Politely decline invitations to spend time together if you know it will be a negative experience, or limit the amount of time you spend with them.

3. Communicate Your Needs: If someone's negativity is affecting you, communicate your feelings respectfully. Let them know how their behavior impacts you and suggest more positive ways of interacting.

4. Spend More Time with Positive People: Actively seek out and spend more time with people who uplift you and have a positive outlook on life. Positive relationships can help balance out the negativity you encounter.

5. Focus on Your Own Well-being: Engage in activities that boost your mood and well-being. Whether it's a hobby, exercise, or meditation, focusing on your own health can make you less susceptible to negativity.

6. Avoid Gossip and Negative Conversations: Try not to participate in gossip or overly negative conversations. These can create a cycle of negativity and affect your mood.

7. Practice Self-care: Taking care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally can strengthen your resilience against negative influences. Make sure to prioritize your self-care routines.

8. Learn to Say No: It's okay to decline invitations or requests that don't serve your well-being or that come from people who bring negativity into your life.

9. Seek Support: If you're finding it difficult to distance yourself from negative people, especially if they're family members or coworkers, seek support from friends, mentors, or professionals who can offer advice and perspective.

10. Cultivate Positivity in Yourself: Finally, focus on cultivating your own positivity. The more positive and content you are with yourself, the less impact negative people will have on you.
