What is situational leadership?

Situational leadership is a leadership style developed by Paul Hersey and Ken Blanchard in the late 1960s. It's based on the idea that the most successful leaders are those who can adapt their style to the readiness or maturity of the individuals they are leading. Situational leadership suggests that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to leadership and that leaders should adjust their style based on the specific situation and the needs of their team members.
