BUILD A STRONG TEAM RATHER THAN BUILD A STRONG CLIQUE

When aiming to create a productive and harmonious environment, it is advisable to focus on building a strong team rather than building a strong clique.

Build a strong team: It emphasizes the creation of a unified and collaborative group. A strong team is characterized by open communication, mutual respect, and a shared vision. Team members support one another, leveraging their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve collective success. This approach fosters an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to contribute their best efforts. Building a strong team involves clear goal-setting, defining roles and responsibilities, and encouraging teamwork and cooperation. The focus is on aligning individual strengths with the team's objectives, creating synergy and driving innovation.

Build a strong clique: A clique suggests a small, exclusive group that may prioritize its own interests over those of the larger organization or community. Cliques can create divisions and foster an environment of exclusion, where only certain individuals are allowed to participate or have influence. This can lead to a lack of transparency and hinder collaboration with others outside the group. While a clique might be strong in terms of internal loyalty, it often lacks the broader inclusivity and openness that are essential for long-term success and harmony within a larger organization.
